Introducing the Integrative Wellness Collective – A Co-op

Hello! My name is Stephanie Bucklin, and I am the visionary for the “Love Warrior Wellness Cooperative,” which is now known as the Integrative Wellness Collective. You can read about the history of this cooperative in our blog, History of the IWC.

The Integrative Wellness Collective is seeking to provide a holistic solution to resolve larger societal issues of obesity, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and food insecurity. We are empowering humanity to be more mindful of their individual choices that are affecting themselves and the planet. Our true target market is all human beings, ages 0 to 100, in every culture, internationally. Most often, we expect to serve women, supporting the strengthening of our divine feminine and the woman of the household. Men are welcome to join our collective in support of this objective, as well as to heal the divine masculine.

We started the collective in January 2020 with Phase One, our Founding Member’s Launch. The launch concluded on July 1st, 2024 with ten members and four co-founders. Our initial vision is to build a network of healers.

As of the third quarter of 2024, we have opened up the Business Partner membership levels, which are now featured on our Membership page.

Phase Two

We are creating membership education programs to help wellness business owners who want to thrive in their businesses by learning valuable entrepreneurship skills and challenging their own limiting mindsets in favor of reducing stress. We also host seasonal events to provide greater visibility for our members, and we have affiliate and referral programs in place to help our members increase their revenue.

WHAT WE DO
The Integrative Wellness Collective – a Co-op! Is a membership organization, offering business support and education for wellness professionals.

HOW WE DO IT
We offer member benefits, based on different levels of membership, including:
● Hybrid education modules, evening & weekend workshops;
● Bartered and discounted wellness services (Members Helping Members);
● Masterminds, accountability partners & networking opportunities;
● Business coaching, consulting, and support services;
● A Member Directory with advertising options to increase visibility.

WHY IT’S IMPORTANT
Wellness business owners often struggle with limiting beliefs. Mindset challenges were at the top of the list from all the practitioners we’ve interviewed. On top of that, they are not often educated in business strategies that lead to success. We serve the community that is serving others. Our proven methods will help our members co-create, build, grow and scale their businesses for increasing ROIs!

Three-fold Mission

We have three causes that we ascribe to through our business practices, programs and services – an individual, community and global cause:

INDIVIDUAL HUMAN POTENTIAL CAUSE: The collective will develop and offer programs and services that teach individuals and families how to access their innate self-healing abilities by acquiring proper nutrition from whole foods, detoxifying the body, mind and spirit, aligning to personal truths, resolving limiting beliefs, listening to intuition, unconditional self-love, and compassionate loving kindness, thereby creating the necessary mind-body-spirit connections for deeper somatic awareness and inner peacefulness.

ONE LOVE COMMUNITY CAUSE: To offer programs and services that teach Permaculture and sustainability skills for healthier practices for humanity and the planet, and to empower the community to be stewards for the Earth and live in peace with all living things. Our community services will include all the business support services offered by our collective.

GLOBAL UNITY CAUSE: To become a catalyst for positive societal change through our online humanity coaching, service-learning, and global citizenship programs, to help create the tipping point needed for humanity to transition to a peaceful society. We will also positively affect the global community with our virtual conscious wellness events.

We are a Social Enterprise

We are a for-profit cooperative corporation. Our primary customers are B2B for phases one and two. When we reach phase three, we will be open to individuals and families to participate as members in a B2C format. The community is invited to follow us as we grow! There are many different ways to plug into our offers. Subscribe to our newsletter for updates.

As we grow the cooperative’s audience, we will find the community support needed to building a healing center. Our goal is to grow first with the wellness industry as a resource for inspiring businesses to thrive. Once we have dialed in the support of our wellness practitioner brothers and sisters, we will begin developing optimal wellness programs to educate and assist the community in weight loss, preventative maintenance and lifestyle medicine, as well as soft skills and holistic self-healing techniques. Our team will take a holistic team-based approach for every client. In doing so, the organization will become a key factor in building a healthier community, empowering individuals and businesses to live more sustainable lifestyles, and becoming a catalyst for disrupting the current healthcare model.

We are creating this business based on the concept of Social Entrepreneurism:

“Social entrepreneurs are individuals with innovative solutions to society’s most pressing social problems. They are ambitious and persistent, tackling major social issues and offering new ideas for wide-scale change. Rather than leaving societal needs to the government or business sectors, social entrepreneurs find what is not working and solve the problem by changing the system, spreading the solution, and persuading entire societies to take new leaps…Just as entrepreneurs change the face of business, social entrepreneurs act as the change agents for society, seizing opportunities others miss and improving systems, inventing new approaches, and creating solutions to change society for the better.” (Source: https://www.ashoka.org/social_entrepreneur)

The unique business structure will help create a self-sustaining business – a multi-stakeholder cooperative structure will allow the Investors, Founders, Practitioners, and Community Members will be co-owners of the organization. For community members, they will “buy-in” with membership fee [like an insurance premium] and receive access to all our products and services at discounted rates [like a co-payment]. Our intention is to replace the need for Health Insurance, disrupting that section economy to put the ownership of wellness back into the hands of the consumer.

Cooperative Transparency

Beginning in Spring 2024 Phase One of the Integrative Wellness Cooperative is focusing efforts into developing a team of Supporters, Partners and Co-Founding Members for this beautiful organization. We are actively looking for other social entrepreneurs to partner with us. If you happen to know anyone that would resonate with this business idea, please feel free to share this website!
